Description
The Simulation Technician supports the setup, operations and maintenance of simulation-based training activities, both in fixed lab locations and via mobile simulation units. This role is responsible for transporting and operating the mobile simulation lab. Duties include preparing simulation equipment, running scenarios, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring proper maintenance of manikins, a/v system and medical devices. The technician also assists faculty and learners during training sessions, manages inventory, and ensures adherence to safety and operational protocols. Additionally, they oversee the upkeep of the mobile lab, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and maintaining the vehicle in optimal conditions to support off-site training initiatives.
