You'll work closely with software, systems, hardware, and test engineers to build robust testing frameworks, validate mission-critical software, and improve the reliability of cutting-edge aerospace technology.If you're passionate about testing, automation, simulation, and solving complex engineering problems, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.What You'll Be DoingDesign and implement software test strategies for high-fidelity simulation environmentsDevelop test plans, procedures, and verification documentationBuild and maintain simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and Continuous Integration (CI) test environmentsWork closely with software, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure complete requirements traceability and test coverageSupport fault injection, resilience testing, and risk assessmentsDevelop and improve automated testing frameworks and toolingGenerate and maintain Verification & Validation (V&V) matricesCoordinate testing activities across multiple engineering teamsSupport software certification activities and customer-facing test reviewsPromote a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvementWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline0–3 years of experience in software testing, simulation, or verificationExperience testing simulation software, robotics, aerospace systems, or other safety‑critical applicationsFamiliarity with software verification and validation methodologiesExperience with automated testing tools, scripting, or test frameworksUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle and systems engineering principlesExcellent communication and documentation skillsSelf‑motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced engineering environmentNice to HaveExperience with robotics, autonomous systems, spacecraft avionics, or embedded softwareHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), or simulation testbed experienceCI/CD pipeline and configuration management experienceExposure to cloud‑based testing environmentsFamiliarity with NASA Core Flight System (cFS) or VxWorksUnderstanding of space mission development and verification processesWhy Join?This is an opportunity to work on highly advanced aerospace systems alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams developing the future of autonomous space technology.
