Summary of Position Instruct helicopter type ratings, recurrent flight training and special flight courses for AWTA in accordance with the relative syllabus, in a timely and professional manner. Participate on the development of new training courses and ensure a high level of paperwork and record keeping. Occasionally deliver the courses off site. 2. Study and train as needed to remain current as an instructor (and Examiner) pilot him/herself, remaining informed and up-to-date on the latest standards, procedures and regulations as applicable | 5 | | 4. Be responsible to complete all required training paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion | 5 | | 5. Assist in the ongoing development of AWTA curriculum, products and services | 4 | | 6. Maintain and update training materials and publications | 3 | | 7. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned | 3 | | 10. TOTAL | 100% | Qualifications for Position: A. Education Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating. 3000+ hrs Total Flight Time. CFI required, CFII preferred. B. Experience A minimum of 5 years experience performing helicopter instruction and/or flying. C. Competencies & Attributes 1. Instructor and/or examiner back ground in helicopters 2. Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate 3. Strong IFR experience and knowledge 4. Excellent interpersonal communications skills and MS Office knowledge. D.
