Job Description
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Bilingual Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations in a food distribution environment. This is a long-term opportunity for individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse.
- Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Verify product quantities, labels, and locations to support inventory accuracy.
- Follow all company policies, food safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support warehouse and production operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification as required by the employer.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse management practices.
