    Description

    Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Construction Site Administrator to join our construction department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications among site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.

    • Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and invoices.

    • Site Coordination: Assist in tracking project progress and reporting updates to management, ensuring all site activities are documented accurately.

    • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for site-related inquiries, facilitating communication between the office and the construction site.

    • Financial Tracking: Help with budget tracking, expense reporting, and invoice processing to ensure timely payments and adherence to project budgets.

    • Safety Compliance: Maintain safety documentation and assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols on site.

    • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of office supplies and construction materials, placing orders as needed.

    • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, site activities, and administrative tasks for management review.

    Education Requirements/Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.

    • Previous experience in construction or a related administrative role is a plus.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management software.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Job Requirements/Special Skills:

    • Ability to perform tasks on a construction site, including occasional lifting and walking on uneven terrain.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Familiarity with safety protocols in a construction environment is preferred.

    • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels.
