Job Description A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to adda Site Civil Engineer for their Indianapolis team!
Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical lead for sitecivil/land development projects Prepare/oversee site design (grading, drainage,stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements) Lead development of construction documents,calculations, and technical exhibits Perform/review hydrology and hydraulic analysesand stormwater management designs Coordinate with internal disciplines,subconsultants, and project managers Support entitlement/permitting efforts withlocal jurisdictions and reviewing agencies Mentor/train junior staff Review work prepared by junior engineers andprovide technical guidance Participate in client meetings and assist withresponding to agency review comments Apply/interpret applicable local, state, andfederal codes and design standards Support quality control and consistency acrossproject deliverables Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering orrelated field 5+ years of experience in site civil / landdevelopment design PE License Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrated experience leading technicaldesign tasks and coordinating project teams Strong knowledge of grading, drainage,utilities, stormwater design, and permitting Familiar with local jurisdictional standardsand permitting processes Ability to manage multiple projects and meetdeadlines in a fast-paced environment Salary is commensurate with experience.
