Site Contracts Administration & Customer Experience Manager
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration - 6 month +
Summary
Responsible for managing and supervising a team of contracts specialists and administrators supporting the largest site within the Fluid Systems Division. Oversees contract administration, backlog management, and customer experience for domestic and international commercial and military contracts. Leads implementation of goals, policies, and procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
Provides oversight for assigned programs, conducts contract risk management reviews, recommends risk mitigation strategies, and manages the change control process with the Site Business Team. Serves as a member of the Site Leadership Team and mentors/trains Contract Administration and other site functional teams.
Essential Functions
- Manage the Site Contract Administration function while supporting strategic objectives and tactical goals.
- Lead contract analysis, interpretation, investigation, and research activities; provide guidance on contract interpretation, recommendations, and negotiation alternatives.
- Manage team workload and assign contracts based on skill level and experience.
- Oversee task planning, approve resource requirements and effort estimates, and ensure contractual flow-down requirements are communicated effectively.
- Establish team direction, mentor employees, and support professional certification and career development.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including Liberal Arts.
- 7+ years of related experience, including 2+ years in a direct leadership/supervisory role.
- Experience managing multiple contracts of varying complexity and scope.
- Master’s degree or advanced contracts management certification required (may be waived with extensive successful contract administration management experience).
- Strong knowledge of contract management processes, contract types, and applicable laws/regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency with contract/customer management systems and standard business software, including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Salesforce, project management, and database analysis tools.
