Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? The YMCA of the East Valley is seeking a Site Coordinators to lead the implementation of our before and after-school programs. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Site Coordinator is responsible for leading the daily operations of a high-quality before- or after-school program. This role ensures a physically and emotionally safe environment, builds relationships with students, families, and school staff, and provides direct supervision to site staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead and supervise daily program activities including academic support, character development, arts, STEM, and super service.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, YMCA policies, and safety protocols.
  • Foster strong communication with families and school personnel.
  • Perform regular site inspections and drills.
  • Conduct performance reviews for site staff.
  • Maintain accurate records including attendance, supply requests, and program documents.
  • Attend all required trainings and staff meetings.
  • Support YMCA special events such but not limited to Healthy Kids Day and the Christmas Parade.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3 years of experience working with school-aged children in educational or youth development settings.
  • Completion of 72 quarter or 48 semester college units or passing scores on the NCLB exam.
  • 1+ years of staff supervision experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation and availability for assigned shifts.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Sunrise Site Leader 7am - 1:30pm

After School Site Leader 12: pm - 6:30pm
