Position Summary


The Site Development Supervisor is responsible for supervising all site development activities, coordinating field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.


Key Responsibilities


  •  Supervise daily site development and construction activities. 
  •  Coordinate work schedules for field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators. 
  •  Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and timelines. 
  •  Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company standards. 
  •  Enforce OSHA and company safety policies and conduct regular safety meetings. 
  •  Review project drawings, specifications, and work orders with field personnel. 
  •  Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays. 
  •  Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage to maintain project budgets. 
  •  Coordinate inspections with local authorities and regulatory agencies. 
  •  Maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and project documentation. 
  •  Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations to project management. 
  •  Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of construction equipment. 
  •  Assist in planning project schedules and resource allocation. 
  •  Train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel. 
Qualifications


  •  High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. 
  •  5+ years of site development or heavy civil construction experience. 
  •  Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. 
  •  Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, utilities, drainage, paving, and site preparation. 
  •  Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. 
  •  Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices. 
  •  Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is a plus. 
  •  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
