We're looking for leaders like you to be the Captain of our team!Where: Spencer East Brookfield Schedule: Monday-Fridays, 6:30am-8:15am and 2:45-5:45pmPay & Benefits:Starting at $24.00/hour Part-time benefits are availableEmployee referral program - up to $150 for every successful new hire you referFriendship and laughter comes with a paycheck!As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and staffRequired qualifications:21+ and a bachelor's degree or associates degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, child psychology or recreation management from a college or university is preferred.Flexible and demonstrates a passion to work with children in a learning environmentProvides a supportive and caring environment for childrenAbility to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, and other managementAbility to successfully pass and maintain criminal history background checks and Child Protective Services RegistryStrong attention to detail and accuracyWell-organized, thorough, and highly reliable/dependableAbility to remain calm and maintain a high-level of professionalism and personal work ethics/integrity at all timesBasic Microsoft Office experience preferredDirect instructional experience in a licensed childcare program, an elementary public or charter school, Department of Health licensed camp or an approved private educational organizational system.Come join the AlphaBEST movement to help kids journey to greater discovery and connection to the world around them.
