Administrative Faculty Contract. Non Tenure Track, Benefits Eligible - This position is grant funded through 6/30/2027. Employment is contingent upon continued funding. The position is being filled through an emergency appointment. Appointment to the role on a permanent basis is contingent upon meeting additional recruitment requirements.
The Nursing & Allied Health Site Director - Fallon Campus is an administrative faculty position responsible for leading and managing Nursing and Allied Health programs, personnel, instruction, partnerships, and operations at the Fallon campus. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Allied Health, this position provides site-based leadership for program delivery, instructional quality, faculty and staff supervision, clinical coordination and oversite, workforce alignment, and operational management in alignment with college policies, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and division priorities.
The Site Director oversees Fallon campus instructional and operational activities, including faculty supervision and development, local clinical coordination, student support, community partnerships, and oversight of facilities and on-site clinical partnerships. The role serves as the primary Nursing & Allied Health operational representative for the Fallon service area.
The Site Director works in collaboration with the Director, Operations & Clinical Coordinator, faculty, staff, Fallon campus leadership, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders to support student success, workforce development, program quality, and responsive rural healthcare education pathways.

This position is at a salary grade D. The minimum of the placement range is $97,000.The selected candidate will be placed at or above the minimum based on education and experience. WNC's placement range falls within the NSHE salary schedule: NSHE ADMINISTRATIVE SALARY SCHEDULE

All faculty and professional staff working at least half-time equivalent must participate in the NSHE Faculty Retirement Plan Alternative (RPA) as a condition of employment. The current contribution rate is 19.25%. Your contribution is matched by the College at 19.25%.
Your contributions are made by pre-tax salary reduction and you are 100% vested from your first day. You choose how to invest your own and NSHE's contributions. The plan administrator provides dedicated financial consultants that are available to assist you in your investment deliberations. Faculty and staff who have previously participated in the Public Employees' Retirement System of Nevada (PERS) may be required to continue participation in PERS.
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) does not participate in the federal Social Security System but does contribute to the federal Medicare program. This means that while you are employed by NSHE neither you nor NSHE contribute to Social Security and you do not earn a Social Security benefit.

Notwithstanding any provision of the NSHE Code to the contrary, this contract is a temporary contract only and the employee is not entitled to or guaranteed additional employment contracts in the future. Pursuant to the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents Handbook, Title 4, Chapter 3, Section 41, 2., c., temporary full-time faculty are not entitled to the notice of nonreappointment and notice of termination provisions in Title 2, Chapter 5, Section 5.9. In the best judgment of the appointing authority this temporary employment appointment may be terminated with 30 days' notice, which may include accrued annual leave pursuant to Title 4, Chapter 3, Section 20, paragraph 3.
