Job Summary
The Site EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring each Carlisle Construction Material site is compliant with applicable CCM environment health and safety policies and procedures. The specific reporting structure department classification and additional non-safety related duties of this role all vary by plant and CCM Division.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and possibly administer safety training for employees including sales personnel office etc. • Ensure timely accident incident investigations and ensure timely reporting to plant management • Maintain sites emergency action plans • Manage compliance of facility environmental permits air stormwater • Manage waste activities hazardous and non-hazardous and the facility recycling program • OSHA PSM and EPA RMP experience • ISO 14001 experience • Coordinate sites confined space lockout respiratory and hearing programs • Schedule lead and be actively involved in safety committee meetings • Maintain and manage a master list of environmental health and safety corrective actions generated from the sites EH&S process • Conduct the annual review of site-specific EH&S safety policies and update them as needed • Maintain Hazcom requirements and keep SDS data current • Coordinate Industrial Hygiene surveys as required air noise ergonomics etc. • Ensure that potential EH&S aspects chemical guarding LOTO fall confined space ergonomic noise are reviewed for all new processes materials and equipment before use • Coordinate the sites mobile equipment program • Coordinate sites new employee and temporary labor safety on-boarding training • Participate in safety condition walks and help administer any safe behavior observations • Participate in other CCM EH&S initiatives and programs and/or coordinate key element of any safety process that is specific to the facility such as process safety management PSM
Required Skills, Abilities, Knowledge
• Ability to adapt to any CCM policy and OSHA training • First Aid, CPR, AED certified • Experience with computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Excellent organizational verbal and written communication skills required • Prior experience interacting with coworkers at all levels from shop floor to Plant Managers • Ability to act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of a work assignment • Prior leadership experience and ability to motivate employees • Comfortable with presenting effectively in front of small and large groups • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems

Education and Experience
• Bachelors degree in environmental health safety or engineering strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years of managing EHS preferred.
Equipment Used
• This position uses the following equipment in the course of the job duties: forklift respirator equipment visual aids LEL monitor meter decibel meter radio computer and phone.
Working Conditions
• This position conducts its work in a manufacturing environment with normal to elevated temperatures and humidity range. Atmosphere may contain fumes odors fiberglass dust gas and poor ventilation. Typical shift is Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday or Sunday if a crisis occurs in the plant.
Travel Requirement
• Will be required to travel locally to meet with safety and medical vendors on occasion. Will travel less than 10 overnight for safety trainings and certifications. Other travel will be necessary as defined by management.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Used
• While working on the production floor eye and hearing protection is required at all times. Other forms of PPE may be required as defined by management.
