Responsibilities
The Site Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in our service area (Grand Rapids to the MI/IN boarder, and the lakeshore to Battle Creek), responsible for performing and overseeing day-to-day restoration and renovation activities at residential job sites. This role coordinates crews and subcontractors, monitors project progress, and ensures work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations. The Site Lead communicates regularly with homeowners and internal teams to provide updates, set expectations, and address questions or concerns. Daily responsibilities include organizing site logistics, verifying materials and equipment are available, documenting work completed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing on-site reconstruction tasks. The Site Lead also supports training of team members on site procedures and standards and escalates issues or risks to management, as needed.
Reconstruction skills: finish carpentry, drywall, paint, tile/flooring, roofing, etc.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with homeowners, internal teams, and external partners with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating crews, tracking progress, and managing site resources.
Research and problem-solving skills to evaluate site conditions, identify solutions, and support accurate documentation and reporting.
Training and coaching capabilities to guide team members on safety practices, quality standards, and company procedures.
Experience in construction, restoration, or a related field, with a solid understanding of residential building practices and safety regulations.
Ability to work on-site full time, including managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid drivers license and cell phone.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in construction, restoration, or project supervision are a plus.
