Our client, a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company, is seeking an experienced Site Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of a high-volume logistics facility. This individual will have responsibility for operational execution, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, safety, productivity, and financial performance.

The Site Leader will serve as the primary leader for the facility, partnering closely with Operations, Transportation, Account Management, Human Resources, Finance, and customers to ensure the site consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with experience managing large teams in a 3PL, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, transportation, or supply chain environment.

Our organization is seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Site Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our site, maintaining and improving our supply chain, warehousing, and transportation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all site-related operations, including P&L and budgeting, and will be instrumental in implementing and optimizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to make a significant impact on our operations and contribute to our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Site Leader, your duties will include:

1. Overseeing all site operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Managing P&L, creating and maintaining budgets, and ensuring that financial targets are met.
3. Implementing, managing, and optimizing our WMS and ERP systems to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
4. Overseeing our supply chain and warehousing processes, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary.
5. Managing our transportation systems, ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Leading and motivating a team, providing guidance and support, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Working closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that site operations align with overall company objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Site Leader role will have:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
2. Extensive experience with supply chain, warehousing, P&L, budgeting, WMS, ERP, and transportation.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
5. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
7. A strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
8. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
