Site Project Manager 

Location: New Orleans, LA
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Start Date No Later Than July 20)
Travel & Living: Reimbursed at Cost

Position Summary 

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to support a chemicals industry project in New Orleans, LA. This individual will be responsible for overseeing on-site project execution, coordinating contractors and project teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving successful project completion within schedule and budget requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day site activities for a chemicals manufacturing project.

• Coordinate project execution with engineering, construction, operations, and contractor teams.

• Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.

• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting scope, schedule, cost, or quality.

• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Conduct site inspections and verify work is performed according to project specifications and industry standards.

• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, plant personnel, contractors, and leadership teams.

• Manage field resources and contractors to ensure safe and successful project execution.

• Support project commissioning, startup, and turnover activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Site Management, Construction Management, or Project Management experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, refining, or other heavy industrial environments.

• Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems.

• Exposure to Rockwell Automation platforms 

• Proven experience managing field execution for capital projects, plant upgrades, or facility expansions.

• Strong understanding of construction management, contractor coordination, project scheduling, and safety programs.
