Salary Range: $34,500 - $38,500

Certification/License Requirements- Certification as a Youth Peer Support Specialist (YPSS) through a state-approved training program, or ability to obtain certification prior to hire with agency support
- Must meet YPSS credential age requirement of 35 years old or younger
Educational Requirements- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of DBHDID-sanctioned 30-hour Peer Support Specialist training required (training/retraining available through Pathways if needed)
Experience Requirements- At least one (1) year of managerial or supervisory experience required
- Qualifying lived experience consistent with Peer Support Specialist regulations
- Experience with substance use disorder (SUD) and/or mental health (MH) recovery populations preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively within a team environment
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide Peer Support Services through:
- Sharing lived experience to support and encourage recovery
- Advocating for individuals in recovery
- Assisting consumers with skill-building and resource connection
- Facilitating community relationships and support systems
- Leading peer support sessions and mentoring assigned consumers
- Assisting consumers in developing and achieving recovery goals
- Manage daily operations of the TAYLRD Drop-In Center during operational hours
- Provide direct supervision and support to assigned TAYLRD staff
- Conduct outreach activities and collaborate with community partners and systems of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements
- Adhere to all Pathways policies and procedures and applicable regulations, including 908 KAR 2:220
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Skills & Knowledge- Understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care
- Ability to establish professional boundaries while utilizing lived experience appropriately
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with youth and young adults in recovery
- Ability to provide services in compliance with Kentucky regulations and Pathways policies and procedures
