Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Salt lake City, UT (Onsite)
Duration: 2 months Contract ( Temp to Perm)
Mon-Fri, 8:00am 5:00pm

Overview

  • Responsible for the daily operations of a small-to-medium site, managing a team of 3 employees while supporting print production, print order tracking, and mailroom activities.

  • Oversees print, mail, copy, courier, imaging, hospitality, and managed print services while ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and achievement of service level agreements.

  • Provides leadership, employee development, performance management, and operational support in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize daily site operations, production workflows, and competing priorities.

  • Supervise, train, cross-train, coach, counsel, and evaluate team members to improve performance and productivity.

  • Conduct performance reviews, employee counseling, career development planning, and individual development plans.

  • Create a positive, customer-focused work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.

  • Assist with print production, mailroom activities, production scheduling, and order tracking.

  • Ensure achievement of service level agreements, quality standards, audit requirements, and production deadlines.

  • Monitor production labor and quality control performance to meet operational goals.

  • Match staffing resources, employee skills, and equipment availability to production demands.

  • Maintain daily customer contact and develop a strong understanding of customer requirements.

  • Gather customer feedback, support satisfaction initiatives, and contribute to business retention efforts.

  • Identify service gaps, process improvement opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

  • Prepare reports, customer presentations, business reviews, and operational documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding pricing, orders, invoicing, and service-related issues.

  • Support and utilize established service excellence tools, processes, and best practices.

  • Operate and support production printers, color oversized printers, and related equipment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 3 5 years of experience in a related field, including print production, mail services, office services, or business operations.

  • Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous management experience in a print, copy, shipping, or business services environment such as Staples, Office Depot, or FedEx Office preferred.

  • 3 5 years of customer-facing experience required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of technology.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360.

  • Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.

  • Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.

  • Professional customer service, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to present information to medium-sized groups.

  • Valid driver's license required; occasional driving may be necessary.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Comfortable working in an office and production environment with frequent use of computers, printers, and related equipment.
