Compensation:$70 - $75 yearly
Responsibilities:- Ensure quality standards are being met
- Work to develop the business by taking on new projects and implementing changes as needed
- Develop and implement systems to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain communication with all stakeholders within the business
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
- Oversee daily waste intake, handling, and shipment
- Ensure waste is properly compacted and transferred to trailers or containers
- Monitor equipment (compactors, loaders, scales) and schedule maintenance
- Manage the traffic flow of incoming and outgoing trucks
Staff Supervision
- Supervise operators, scale attendants, and laborers
- Create schedules and assign duties
- Train employees on safety procedures and equipment use
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and environmental regulations
- Maintain records for inspections and permits
- Conduct safety meetings and incident investigations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Knowledge of solid waste operations and environmental regulations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Familiarity with heavy equipment and facility operations
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- A combination of office work and outdoor, hands-on supervision
- Exposure to noise, odors, weather, and heavy machinery
