Operations Manager 

The Operations Manager is the senior on-site leader accountable for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of an industrial facility. This role has full responsibility for site performance, operational excellence, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee 24/7 site operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance, including OSHA, DEP, and EPA standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Manage site financial performance, including budgeting, P&L oversight, and capital planning
• Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures
• Direct staffing, training, performance management, and professional development of site personnel
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operations management experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance programs and industrial safety practices
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage operations involving heavy equipment
• Demonstrated skills in project planning, business strategy, and clear, effective communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Adaptable, proactive, ethical, and results-oriented leadership style
