    Site Manger-Facilities Services

    SITE MANAGER - FACILITIES SERVICES
    The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of facility services at an automotive manufacturing facility. This position serves as DFM Solutions' primary on-site representative and oversees the subcontracted service provider performing the facility work.
    The Site Manager is accountable for ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
    Primary Goals and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
    Site Operations & Service Delivery
    • Provide overall leadership and oversight of contracted facility services at the assigned location.
    • Ensure subcontractors meet established scopes of work, service levels, quality standards, staffing requirements, and customer expectations.
    • Conduct routine facility inspections and site tours to evaluate service quality, identify deficiencies, and ensure timely corrective action.
    • Manage site performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other customer requirements.
    • Coordinate operational priorities across janitorial, paint shop, and other contracted facility services.
    • Utilize performance trends and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    Subcontractor Management
    • Provide day-to-day oversight of subcontracted service providers and their on-site leadership.
    • Monitor subcontractor staffing, service quality, safety performance, responsiveness, and overall effectiveness.
    • Hold subcontractor leadership accountable for performance, issue resolution, corrective actions, and compliance with contractual expectations.
    • Facilitate regular performance discussions and ensure identified concerns are addressed promptly.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and DFM leadership to support changing operational needs and customer priorities.
    Customer Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary on-site DFM representative and point of contact for customer leadership.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives, union representatives, and key site stakeholders.
    • Facilitate customer meetings, performance reviews, planning discussions, and operational updates.
    • Proactively address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of service or operational issues.
    • Partner with DFM leadership to continuously improve customer satisfaction and overall account performance.
    Safety, Quality & Compliance
    • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with DFM, customer, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
    • Monitor subcontractor compliance with required safety policies, procedures, training, and site rules.
    • Lead or support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions as appropriate.
    • Maintain high standards for service quality and ensure deficiencies are documented, corrected, and monitored.
    Financial & Administrative Management
    • Monitor site financial performance, subcontractor costs, supplies, and other operating expenses against budget.
    • Ensure contracted services are delivered in accordance with established scopes, budgets, and financial expectations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
    • Maintain accurate operational records, performance reports, inspections, and required customer documentation.
    • Partner with DFM Finance and leadership on budgeting, reporting, and overall account performance.
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications & Prior Experience:
    • Strong commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and customer service.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
    • Minimum of 5 years of operations, facilities, janitorial, or related service management experience.
    • Experience managing multiple subcontractors or third-party service providers strongly preferred.
    • Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or other 24/7 industrial operations preferred.
    • Experience working in a union environment and interacting with union representatives; UAW experience within an automotive manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
    • Strong customer relationship management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, budgets, KPIs, and service performance.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
