Job Title: Site Office Admin / Project Coordinator
Type of Engagement: 12-month contract for direct W2 ONLY  (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Onsite position in Childress, TX

***Candidates must currently reside in the greater Childress TX area

Job Overview:

The Project Coordinator will provide assistance to the project staff, Project Manager, Project Engineer and Superintendents in order to implement the necessary flow of project activities in an orderly manner to ensure a flawless execution of the project.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information of assigned projects.
  • Liaison between project teams.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Prepare on-site facilities and organization (mobilization/demobilization): filing system, signage, temporary power, telephones, trailers, utilities, dumpsters, portable toilets, obtaining permits etc.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking equipment deliveries with Project Engineer.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining Project Superintendent deliverables.
  • Create, track, submit, distribute and log contract work orders, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Follow up communication for subcontractors
  • Assist Project Manager with monthly reporting.
  • Work with Project Engineer to maintain and archive documents pertaining to assigned projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate key meetings for
  • Assist Contracts Manager as needed
  • Coordinate with Indigenous Relations Manager to provide administrative support.
  • Miscellaneous other duties that may be required.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5+ years of experience supporting project managers or in a project coordinator position preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage work and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • The ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Considerable skill in problem solving, conflict resolution.
  • Familiar with construction methods and processes.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
