LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a global manufacturer serving aerospace and highly engineered industrial markets to identify their next Site Operations Manager.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced manufacturing executive who enjoys balancing operational excellence, strategic leadership, customer engagement, and business growth. Reporting to the Division General Manager, this individual will lead a complex manufacturing operation and have full responsibility for site performance, profitability, and organizational success. This role offers a base salary of $225,000-$240,000, DOE. In addition, benefits include up to a 25% annual bonus, Long-Term Inventive Plan, and 4 weeks of PTO.
Job Duties:
Provide overall leadership for a complex manufacturing operation, ensuring strong financial and operational performance
Develop and execute business strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term organizational objectives
Lead and influence multiple functional areas to drive alignment and business results
Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness
Partner with customers and key stakeholders to support business development and strengthen strategic relationships
Build, mentor, and develop leaders while fostering a high-performance culture
Establish performance expectations and accountability across the organization
Drive initiatives focused on safety, quality, employee engagement, and continuous improvement
Utilize data and key business metrics to inform decision-making and operational priorities
Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, compliance, and corporate standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; technical or business-related disciplines preferred
10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial operations
Proven experience leading a business, site, division, or major operational function with financial accountability
Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional teams in a complex operating environment
Experience within aerospace, industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or similarly complex production environments
Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting customer relationships and business growth initiatives
Track record of improving operational performance and developing high-performing teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a senior site leadership, business unit leadership, or general management role
Advanced degree (MBA or related graduate degree)
Experience within highly regulated manufacturing environments
Exposure to government, defense, aerospace, or other technically complex industries
Background leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, or transformation initiatives
