Your Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the site owner for all packaging systems, including primary, secondary, and tertiary (e.g., PE Bags, bottles, drums, IBCs, boxes, pallets)
  • Design and optimize packaging solutions, ensuring product protection, chemical compatibility, and cost efficiency
  • Partner with technical teams on packaging design and compatibility with product chemistry
  • Collaborate with regulatory on UN/DOT compliance.
  • Collaborate with procurement on supplier selection and qualification
  • Support logistics and operations to improve packaging performance in handling, storage, and transportation
  • Lead packaging troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Your Qualification Profile

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Essential: 5+ years of experience in packaging engineering or a related role
  • Essential: Experience with industrial or chemical product packaging
  • Preferred: Transportation and packaging regulations (UN, DOT, etc.)
  • Preferred: Experience with hazardous materials packaging
  • Preferred: Familiarity with IBC, drums, and bulk packaging systems
  • Preferred: Exposure to global packaging operations or supplier networks
  • Essential: Strong project management and supplier collaboration experience
