Site Planner

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Alternating workweeks with every other Friday off

LHH is seeking a Site Planner (Moves & Changes Coordinator) for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity in Rochester, New York. This role supports workplace planning, employee relocations, occupancy management, and space utilization initiatives across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with space planning, move coordination, and facilities operations, along with strong AutoCAD skills. This position offers the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Enter, track, and manage employee move-related work orders from initiation through completion
Coordinate and schedule contract labor, including movers, furniture installers, and other service providers
Serve as the primary point of contact for move-related requests and provide status updates to employees and stakeholders
Maintain and update occupancy, seating, and space management databases
Assign employee workspace in accordance with established space standards
Support furniture standards, workplace guidelines, and space planning documentation
Coordinate small- to medium-scale employee relocations across multiple buildings
Monitor move schedules, project dependencies, and completion timelines
Escalate issues, delays, and conflicts while identifying practical solutions
Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, HR, and external vendors to ensure successful move execution
Maintain move documentation, reporting metrics, and standard operating procedures
Identify opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy, and employee experience
Travel locally as needed to support additional sites and locations
Qualifications
Required
Experience in space planning, workplace planning, facilities coordination, or move management
AutoCAD experience (required)
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing an excellent employee experience
Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
Preferred
Experience with Archibus, ServiceNow, Maintenance Connection, or similar work order/space management systems
Knowledge of occupancy planning, seating assignments, and workplace standards
Experience developing restacking plans, space analysis, or master planning initiatives
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Experience supporting facilities, maintenance, workplace services, or corporate real estate functions
