This position is for a Site Reliability Automation and Orchestration Engineer supporting a high-profile DoD program that maintains the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
Reside in Bremerton, WA; Honolulu, HI; Jacksonville, FL; Norfolk, VA; or Washington, DC.
The candidate should have 4-8 years of hands-on experience in site reliability engineering, automation, and DevOps, with skills in infrastructure-as-code, scripting (Python, Bash), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Responsibilities include automating tasks, release management, developing testing procedures, and knowledge transfer.
Required qualifications: active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, experience supporting government environments, and relevant certifications.
Preferred skills include IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Agile certifications.
