Site Safety Coordinator - Data Center IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Site Safety Coordinator - Data Center in Richmond, Virginia.Job SummaryProvides safety leadership and technical support to field employees; evaluates and reports on safety performanceSupports safe work planning by advising operations and project managers on Company and contractual safety requirementsConducts new hire and site-specific safety orientationsLeads toolbox talks and safety meetings as directed by managementReviews site safety plans, risk assessments, permits, MOPs, and related documentation; escalates concerns to the Senior Safety Manager as neededPerforms daily jobsite walks to conduct audits and inspections, identify hazards, and ensure safe work practices; escalates issues as necessaryResponds to reports of incidents and safety concerns, and participates in investigations with senior safety leadershipEnsures compliance with Company policies, OSHA, and applicable regulatory standards; maintains required safety documentationCollaborates regularly with foremen, superintendents, and client safety personnel to identify and resolve safety issuesUtilizes Company safety systems and software to track incidents, inspections, and corrective actionsAssists with identifying training needs and coordinating required training with the Senior Safety ManagerMaintains required safety certifications and supports ongoing professional developmentConducts weekly safety meetings and attends project audits as requestedMonitors subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with Company and project safety requirementsTravel may be required.QualificationsEducation and/or training in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferredPrior experience as Electrician highly preferredOSHA 30-hour, OSHA 510, and First Aid/CPR certifications; CHST credential desired3-5 years recent experience in construction safety or a related roleProficient understanding of construction processes and safety regulationsStrong computer and communication (written, verbal) skillsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management and field employeesMaintaining driving qualifications as required per IES Fleet Safety ProgramSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check and MVR check.Company Overview: IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
