The role requires frequent travel to various project locations and involves both on-site field presence and in-office coordination activities.

- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and document findings with clear corrective actions.
- Oversee and enforce safe use of rigging and lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and related gear, in alignment with applicable standards.
- Supervise and verify safe operation of man-lifts and scissor lifts, ensuring proper training, inspection, and usage procedures are followed.

- Track and manage recordable incidents and near-misses, maintain accurate safety records, and support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan work sequences that minimize risk and support safe execution of mission-critical and data center construction activities.
- Provide on-site safety guidance, coaching, and support to field personnel and subcontractors, reinforcing a strong safety culture.
- Participate in project meetings to communicate safety requirements, review upcoming high-risk activities, and coordinate safety measures.
- Support the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, and emergency response procedures.
- Prepare and deliver safety-related documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance as required.
Essential Skills

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various project sites as needed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively influence, coach, and guide field personnel and subcontractors on safety matters.
- Ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement practical, compliant control measures in dynamic construction environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 500 certification or equivalent advanced safety training.
- Experience working on hyperscale data center projects or other large-scale mission-critical facilities.
- Background in construction safety with exposure to complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with safety documentation processes for mission-critical and data center construction projects.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse project teams to integrate safety into planning and execution.
Work Environment
This role operates in a mixed work environment that includes both on-site field work at active construction projects and in-office responsibilities. The position involves heavy travel to various construction sites, including mission-critical and data center facilities, where the coordinator will spend significant time in the field observing work, conducting inspections, and interacting with construction teams. On-site conditions may include exposure to noise, dust, varying weather conditions, and active heavy equipment operations. In-office work typically involves planning, documentation, reporting, and coordination with project stakeholders, using standard office technology and communication tools.
