We are seeking a Site Safety Inspector to support field construction activities for the Xcel Energy MPG Program.\n \nYour Impact\n \nAs a Site Safety Inspector, you will provide independent field-level safety oversight of 3rd party construction contractors working on program projects. Working under the Jacobs HSSE framework and in coordination with project leadership, you will help promote a strong safety culture while supporting compliance with applicable safety requirements and industry best practices. \n \nKey Responsibilities\n\n Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations. \n Document and report contractor compliance with applicable safety codes, standards, and regulations, including client, OSHA and other industry requirements. \n Verify contractor completion and documentation of Daily Job Briefs and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). \n Identify and document hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss events, and monitor corrective actions. \n Monitor adherence to site safety requirements, including PPE, training, competency, and critical risk protocols. \n Participate in site safety reviews and tailgate meetings as required. \n Coordinate with contractors and field teams to support alignment with project safety objectives. \n Promote Jacobs' BeyondZero Culture of Caring and commitment to safety excellence. \n \nHere's what you'll need\n\n 5+ years of experience in construction safety monitoring, safety oversight, or HSE-related roles. \n Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry best practices. \n Preferred certifications and training include CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, or equivalent credentials. \n Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills. \n Experience working within construction environments and collaborating with contractors and field teams. \n Proficiency with digital reporting and documentation tools. \n \nLocation & Schedule\n \nServices will support projects within the Denver, Colorado metro area and will continue through the assigned phase of work, with potential extensions based on program needs and performance. #epjobs #naepjobs\n \nPosted Salary Range: Minimum\n \n86,600.00\n \nPosted Salary Range: Upper\n \n120,000.00\n \nOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
