The Site Services Intern will support the Facilities and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) teams during Summer 2026 as they execute several high-impact initiatives critical to operational excellence, compliance, and sustainability. This role is designed to provide focused, detail-oriented project support that enables full-time professionals and skilled technicians to remain concentrated on operational priorities and high-value technical work.
The internship offers hands-on exposure to facilities management, EH&S programs, sustainability initiatives, and data governance within a dynamic industrial/manufacturing environment. The intern's contributions will directly support improved data integrity, strengthened compliance, increased rebate recovery, and accelerated progress toward company sustainability goals delivering meaningful return on investment for the organization.
Assist with data migration projects related to Facilities and EH&S systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Organize, validate, and standardize records, files, and databases to improve long-term data integrity and accessibility
Support the transition of legacy documentation into centralized or updated systems
Assist in compiling, organizing, and maintaining sustainability documentation, metrics, and supporting evidence
Support tracking of utility data, energy initiatives, and rebate documentation to help maximize rebate recovery opportunities
Help maintain EH&S records and documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal audits
Support policy governance efforts by reviewing, organizing, and updating Facilities and EH&S policies, procedures, and work instructions
Assist with version control, document formatting, and alignment with internal standards
Help ensure policies are properly stored, accessible, and audit-ready
Provide project coordination support across multiple Facilities and EH&S initiatives
Prepare summaries, trackers, and status updates for project leaders
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and resolve data gaps
Exposure to real-world Facilities and EH&S operations in an industrial/manufacturing setting
Hands-on experience with sustainability initiatives, compliance frameworks, and data governance
Insight into how short-term project support can drive measurable business outcomes and ROI
Professional mentorship from Facilities, EH&S, and Site Services leaders
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, Business, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and documentation accurately
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly
Interest in Facilities, EH&S, sustainability, or operational excellence
Experience with data cleanup, documentation, or process improvement projects
Familiarity with basic sustainability concepts, compliance documentation, or policy management
