Responsibilities:
  • Manages site project(s) for the implementation or development of software components, hardware, or computer application systems
  • Plan team resource needs and works closely with other managers to set clear expectations and roles for team members
  • Providebusiness and technical integration across all related site activities
  • Communicate plans, statuses, and issues to the leadership team
  • Develop, implement and maintain IT standard operation procedures
  • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Interface and work closely with Construction and Telecoms vendors for IT/PT related items and issues
  • Assist with commissioning and startup activities (for IT and Telecoms scope)
  • Assist with Building Inspections (for IT and Telecoms scope)
  • Interface and collaborates with site Plant Technology and IT teams
  • Working knowledge of Telecoms Systems (Access Control, UHF/VHF Radio, Access Control Systems, PA/GA, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or management information systems
  • 10+ years of experience in project management implementing technology solutions at an energy facility or related industry
  • Ability to implement technology projects in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Strong technical skills directing technical professionals
  • Ability to develop and deliver projects using (where appropriate) leading-edge technology
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
