RG Cowan Design Build is hiring a Working Site Superintendent to lead high-quality residential construction projects in the Grand Junction / Western Colorado area.

This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who knows how to run a jobsite, coordinate people and trades, solve problems, maintain quality, and still enjoys working with tools when the site is under control.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Day-to-day jobsite leadership and field execution
• 14-day field planning and readiness
• Labor, material, equipment, and trade coordination
• Short-term schedule execution
• Site safety, security, cleanliness, and professionalism
• First-line quality control
• Daily logs, progress photos, and field communication
• Coordination of subcontractors and RGC field personnel
• Early identification of schedule risks, field conflicts, and required decisions
• Hands-on carpentry and construction work when management responsibilities allow

HOW RGC SUPPORTS YOU

You are not expected to manage every aspect of the project alone.

Project Manager: Scope, Schedule, Budget, long-range planning, trade selection, and client management

Assistant Project Manager: Documentation, workflow, procurement, inspections, reporting, and project information

Working Site Superintendent: Jobsite leadership and field execution

Quality Control Manager: Technical detailing, building science, and quality support

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years of construction experience preferred
• Strong residential carpentry and general construction knowledge
• Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Carpenter experience
• Ability to read architectural and structural plans
• Experience coordinating employees and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing
• Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication with clients and trade partners
• Comfort using mobile technology for schedules, photos, daily logs, and project communication
• Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and high-quality work
