Site Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn
Our client is a respected New York City general contractor with a strong portfolio of multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, and institutional projects. With a reputation for delivering complex developments throughout Brooklyn and the greater NYC area, they are committed to quality craftsmanship, safety, and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented Site Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn to join their team.
As Site Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all daily on-site construction activities
- Managing subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Maintaining project schedules and driving progress toward milestones
- Conducting daily safety inspections and enforcing OSHA standards
- Coordinating multiple trades to ensure efficient workflow
- Reviewing construction drawings and specifications
- Monitoring quality control and workmanship standards
- Leading subcontractor meetings and field coordination efforts
- Managing site logistics, deliveries, and material storage
- Identifying and resolving field issues to minimize delays
- Maintaining project documentation, reports, and site records
- Collaborating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and owners
- Supporting project closeout and turnover activities

A successful Site Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn should have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent or Site Superintendent experience
- Experience managing construction projects in New York City
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and sequencing
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations
- Experience with multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, or educational projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and stakeholders
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Commitment to quality, safety, and project success
