    Description

    Site Superintendent

    DCR is a renowned real estate development, construction, and environmental consulting company, with a long track record of national success, and has contracts with the USACE, DOD, GSA, EPA and Various Other Federal Government Agencies.

    DCR is looking for a Site Superintendent. This individual shall be an integral part of the Company's Construction Services division and work within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Project Safety - Conduct Bi-weekly Safety Audits.
    • Set-up Job Site (Trailer, Phones, Job Box, Post Safety Information, Staging of materials, on-site parking)
    • Obtain Building Permits
    • Review and mark-up specifications for submittal requirements. Submit to Project Engineer to prepare Submittal Log.
    • Set up project files for Field Office.
    • Attend Post Bid Interviews.
    • Post Submittal Log at Field Office. Submittal Log to be tracked and maintained by Site Manger if Project Engineer is not assigned.
    • Post Project Directory at Field Office.
    • Project Scheduling (Microsoft Project, Suretrak, or Primavera) - obtain Guideline Schedule from Project Manager. Obtain detail from Sub-contractors and create Master Schedule. Post at Field Office (24X36). Update and maintain Project Schedule for duration of project.
    • Prepare 2-week look ahead schedules.
    • Assist Project Manager with conducting Pre-Construction Meeting.
    • Post approved revisions on Job Site Documents (Plans and Specifications). Assure all approved revisions from Addenda, Bulletins, Change Requests, Field Directives, and Change Orders are filled in Field Office.
    • Conduct Pre-Installation Meetings with subcontractor a minimum of (2) weeks prior to Sub commencing work on site. Review pre-task list with Sub.
    • Assist Project Manager with conducting Bi-weekly Progress Meetings - review and update minutes to assure accuracy.
    • Conduct Weekly Foreman's Meetings.
    • Prepare Daily Reports. Submit copies to PM weekly.
    • Coordinate deliveries of materials. Ensure on time deliveries.
    • Obtain Safety Program including MSDS and HAZCOM from each Subcontractor prior to working on site.
    • Assist PM to Coordinate/Document Project Meetings - Owner, Pre-construction, Subcontractor, Safety Kick-off, and Coordination Meetings - document and distribute meeting minutes.
    • Attend Internal DCR Project Review Meetings. (Monthly)
    • Pencil Billings - Review Pencil Billing with Project Manager monthly. Confirm percentage of work complete.
    • Review / reply to RFIs. Distribute, Track, and Maintain RFIs and Log if Project Engineer is not assigned.
    • Conduct Punch List with Owner Representative and track and maintain Punch List log until
    • all items are completed.
    • Coordinate Owner Training. Assure all related trades provide representative.
    • Develop and maintain Owners, Subcontractor, and A/E relationships.
    • Maintain peer relationships in the office and field to share issues and ideas.
    • Adhere to the mission and values of DCR

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent follow-through skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Ability to work with diverse project teams and direct as needed.
    • Ability to work with short schedules and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.
