Position: Site Supervisor for Aftercare - SACC Program

Location: Benjamin Franklin Middle School

Assignment Date:

September 2026 - June 2027 (consistent with 10-month district calendar).

Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:15 pm Monday through Friday (hours may vary).

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Supervisory and childcare experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable

accommodations.

• Previous experience in a school or recreational environment is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with children and adults are essential.
• Highly motivated, responsible, punctual and strong leadership qualities required.
• Must be available Monday through Friday for the entire school year.

Functions of the Position:

• Oversee the entire childcare program.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of the students.
• Take attendance and account for every student in the program daily.
• Set up rules and behavior expectations with students and enforce those rules.
• Develop and implement the daily schedule.
• Act as onsite state inspector contact.
• Manage staff schedule and assignments. Act as supervisor to the other staff.
• Manage and sign off on staff time sheets.
• Maintain children and staff records.
• Act as liaison with the Teaneck Community Education Center/SACC main office.
• Act as the main point of contact with parents.

Qualified candidates must have the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, community

members, and students in a multicultural, diverse community.

Hourly Rate: $23.69 / hour
