Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day janitorial services for 14 City-owned/leased facilities.
• Supervise cleaning crews and coordinate site-specific schedules.
• Ensure buildings are properly secured after cleaning.
• Perform site inspections and correct missed work.
• Support after-hours service windows across various city departments.
• Oversee completion of standard, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Hands-on janitorial/custodial operations supervision experience for multi-site facilities.
• Ability to manage cleaning crews, after-hours schedules, and work quality.
• Understanding of restroom sanitation, floor care, and secure facility access procedures.
• Completion of required criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
• Ability to pass DOJ Live Scan clearance if assigned to the Pacifica Police Department.
• US Citizenship and local to Pacifica, CA.

Preferences

• Experience with public restroom hazards and PPE use.
• Familiarity with OSHA/CalOSHA-aligned safety practices.
