National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering schemes across the Southwest region, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Based out of one of the following offices/depots Exeter Ash House, Exeter Sowton Depot or Notterbridge Depot near Plymouth.
Reporting directly to the Construction Assurance Manager, you will carry out construction surveillance and assurance inspections to verify the quality of works, ensuring all activities comply with specifications, standards, and approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Please note that this role may require predominantly unsociable hours, including nights and weekends, for which appropriate overtime and/or an out‑of‑hours allowance will be paid.
This role will involve working across the Southwest network, with a preference for candidates based in Cornwall. Applicants from other regions are welcome, provided they are willing to travel as required.
Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
