Homelessness is the largest social and public health crisis in California. Illumination Health + Home is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children's and family programs. IH+H currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.
Role
The Site Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients. The Site Coordinator is responsible for enforcing facility rules, assisting with client needs, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the site.
The starting pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for $1.00 swing shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this role is 12:00PM to 8:30PM Workdays may vary.
Responsibilities
Client Care & Support
Train and educate all new hire site attendances
Create a hard copy of assignments for all site attendance
Assist site staff with client intakes by preparing client bed area and ensuring bedding and surrounding areas are clean and ready prior to client arrival
Assist site staff with client move-outs, including the packing of belongings and final room sanitation
Conduct routine wellness check-ins with clients and site staff
Facility walk-throughs to ensure facility cleanliness in client rooms and staff office
Perform scheduled and unscheduled screenings of client belongings to ensure compliance with site rules and to prevent prohibited items from entering the facility
Perform any other duties assigned by leadership to support client care and facility operations
Ensure meals are served in a timely manner in accordance with food safety standards (e.g., proper food storage, temperature control, hand hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention)
Ensure kitchen sanitization before and after every meal service, including countertops, prep areas, and utensils
Disinfected client common areas after every meal, including tables, and chairs
Occasionally driving clients to and from scheduled appointments and program activities, ensuring timely and safe transport in compliance with organizational protocols.
Pick up client medications from pharmacies
Ensure daily transportation logs are updated (mileage, trip purposes, and any issues during transit)
Inspect all company vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure vehicles are being sanitized daily (steering wheel, seatbelts, door handles, gear shift, dashboard) before and after each use.
