POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

Axia by Qcells is seeking an experienced Site Survey Coordinator to oversee and manage projects at the site survey stage. In this pivotal role, the Site Survey Coordinator will be responsible for refining project strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of a portfolio of projects. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of the site survey task.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced project management skills, a keen ability to navigate and resolve high-level challenges, a talent for maintaining meticulous attention to detail and providing delightful customer interactions and service.  Your goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and of exceptional quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee a pipeline of projects at the site survey stage and ensure a seamless experience for the sales partners and customers from contract sign to site survey completion.
  • Schedule site survey appointments with homeowners, ensuring timely communication and confirmation.
  • Allocate projects between site survey vendors and in-house site survey technicians depending on territory coverage and performance.
  • Optimize routes for the in-house site survey technicians to maximize their efficiency
  • Act as the primary point of contract for homeowners and sales partners regarding site survey scheduling, rescheduling, or site access issues.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans. Elevate risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor project progress against goals, adapting plans and strategies to address challenges and blockages as they arise.
  • Reviewing incoming site survey reports, photos, and measurements from field technicians for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation; including roof measurements, photos, and electrical information are uploaded into the CRM
  • Identify missing or incorrect data and coordinate with site surveyors or vendors to obtain necessary information.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering team to ensure site data meets requirements for permit ready plan sets.
  • Analyze data and report out on key performance metrics at the site survey stage; production numbers, cycle times, first pass yield, and customer satisfaction.
  • Root cause analysis on main failures and come up with solutions to improve performance in key metrics.
  • Maintain and enhance comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all details are accurately captured and readily accessible.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • H.S. Diploma + 3-5 years (or a bachelor's degree + 1-3 years) of a proven track record as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, including managing complex projects from inception to completion, ideally in the retrofit residential PV + ESS renewable energy sector
  • Proficient in CRM systems, photo capturing applications, or similar MS Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with residential solar and battery technology, electrical systems, and roofing types.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in developing detailed project plans using various methodologies. Ability to interpret complex flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  • 2+ years of experience demonstrated excellent leadership and customer experience enhancing skills, capable of guiding peers and influencing senior-level management and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes and unparalleled customer experience.
  • Exceptional prioritization and time-management abilities, focusing on delivering high-quality positive impact.
  • Strong capabilities in client-facing situations and teamwork; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced project management tools (e.g., enterprise-level CRMs) and quality assurance and risk management familiarity.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is strongly preferred.
