We are seeking an experienced Sitework Foreman with a strong civil construction background to lead crews on site development projects in the Newington, NH area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with excavation, earthwork, underground utilities, grading, surveying, foundation layout, and heavy equipment operation, along with the leadership skills to effectively manage a crew and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise sitework crews on civil construction projects
  • Perform and oversee site and foundation layouts
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grading drawings
  • Utilize GPS and rover equipment for layout, grading, and project accuracy
  • Use Procore for project documentation, communication, and tracking
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed while directing field operations
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project schedules
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
  • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients as required

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Sitework Foreman, Lead Operator, or Civil Construction Foreman
  • Strong civil construction experience required
  • Surveying and GPS/rover experience required
  • Experience performing site and foundation layouts
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Skilled heavy equipment operator with experience in excavation and site development
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage daily field operations
  • Knowledge of underground utilities, grading, drainage, and earthwork
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
