    The Office Coordinator works in conjunction with the Branch/Satellite Clinic Director; to provide the direction and leadership necessary for staff to attain our mission, vision, and values. The Office Coordinator enables the leadership capacity and knowledge base; to assure that all patients and team members receive personalized and quality care.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Knowledge of Windows-based software (with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook)

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively exercise authority and to follow through with operational responsibilities

    • Articulate and able to understand multiple viewpoints (among staff members)

    • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines

    • Demonstrated ability to proactively address operational issues with direct reports and superiors

    • Demonstrated initiative/proactive approach to day to day operations

    • Demonstrated strategic planning and budgeting awareness

    • Medical Terminology class

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous supervisory or management related experience

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Daily operational leader for the department

    • Works to develop and refine processes; necessary to achieve departmental and organizational key measure goals

    • Coaches team members; to promote and develop skills and behaviors necessary to execute department strategy, provide care in accordance with SJRMC’s service standards, and maintain a healthy and balanced work ethic

    • Participates and works to provide input to the Branch/Satellite Clinic Director; regarding team member performance

    • Ensures effective communication with all team members and excels in both verbal and written communication

    • Monitors department schedules and assures adequate staffing and schedule accuracy

    • Participates in departmental clinical care quality assurance and displays a commitment to improving quality performance

    • Investigates and resolves safety of care concerns; including those filed through SJRMC’s Quantros reporting systems

    • Attends departmental and organizational meetings (as required)

    • Identifies quality issues and implements improvement strategies; utilizing evidence-based research

    • Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC’s Service Standards into their daily work:

                                                         Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship

    • Other duties as assigned

    Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:

    • Lifting up to 50 pounds (may be required)

    • Long periods of bending, stooping, pushing, walking, and sitting (may be required)

    • Extensive computer usage

    • Job may be sedentary in nature

    • Overtime may be required
