    Job Overview

    We are seeking Skid Assembly Technicians – Level 1 and Level 2 to join our team. These technicians will be responsible for assembling, installing, and preparing mechanical and electrical components on equipment skids used in industrial and data center environments.

    The ideal candidates have hands-on construction, mechanical, electrical, or equipment assembly experience and are comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, drawings, and installation procedures.

    Skid Assembly Technician – Level 1

    The Level 1 Technician is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with skid assembly and learning proper installation procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with assembly and installation of skid-mounted equipment and components
    • Read and follow basic drawings, layouts, and work instructions
    • Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly
    • Install brackets, supports, conduit, piping, cable tray, and other components as directed
    • Measure, mark, drill, cut, and assemble materials
    • Assist senior technicians with equipment installation and alignment
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
    • Perform quality checks on completed work
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

    Level 1 Qualifications

    • 0–2 years of construction, mechanical assembly, electrical, manufacturing, or related experience
    • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
    • Ability to read basic drawings or willingness to learn
    • Ability to lift and move materials as required
    • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • OSHA 10 is a plus

    Skid Assembly Technician – Level 2

    The Level 2 Technician is an experienced technician capable of independently performing more advanced skid assembly and installation tasks.

    Responsibilities

    • Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components on equipment skids
    • Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and installation specifications
    • Perform accurate measurements, layout, drilling, cutting, and fabrication
    • Install supports, brackets, cable tray, conduit, piping, equipment, and related components
    • Assist with equipment alignment, leveling, and positioning
    • Troubleshoot basic assembly and installation issues
    • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
    • Identify material or installation issues and communicate them to supervision
    • Assist Level 1 technicians with training and field guidance
    • Maintain proper documentation and follow project procedures
    • Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

    Level 2 Qualifications

    • 2+ years of relevant mechanical assembly, electrical, construction, manufacturing, or industrial experience
    • Experience assembling equipment, machinery, or skid-mounted systems preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
    • Proficient with hand tools and power tools
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to perform accurate measurements and layout
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • OSHA 10 certification preferred
    • Forklift, aerial lift, or other equipment certifications are a plus

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
    • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment
    • Ability to work safely around tools, machinery, electrical equipment, and construction materials
    • Ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, or data center construction environments
    • Must be able to wear required PPE
