About the Opportunity Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrification & Automation (EA) offers a 4‑month SkillBridge internship for active‑duty U.S. military service members. This structured program combines classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job training, enabling interns to develop technical knowledge of low‑ and medium‑voltage power distribution equipment while working alongside experienced Field Service Engineers across the United States.Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities Complete all required technical and safety trainingParticipate in field service activities under the supervision of qualified Siemens personnelLearn Siemens commissioning and maintenance proceduresSupport electrical and mechanical inspections of power distribution equipmentAssist with testing, troubleshooting, and startup activitiesMaintain compliance with all Siemens and customer safety requirementsTravel as required to support field training assignments at customer locations throughout the United States – up to 80%Desired Military Experience, Backgrounds, and/or Aptitude Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic SystemsNuclear Engineering/Power/Energy & Nuclear Plant OperatorSatellite or Radar SystemsQualifications Basic Qualifications: Only active military personnel will be considered.
