Were looking for two transitioning service members to join our team as Technical Trainers and help us build the next generation of field leaders. In this role, you wont be sitting on the sidelines youll be at the center of how we develop our Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators. If youve led people, trained crews, and know what it takes to build operational excellence in high-stakes environments, this is the transition opportunity youve been looking for.

This is a full-time SkillBridge placement at our Cherry Hill, NJ office and is only available for Skillbridge eligible transitioning service members.

What Youll Do

  • Facilitate structured technical training programs for Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators delivering curriculum that is practical, field-relevant, and built for professionals who learn by doing
  • Partner with operations leadership to assess training needs and close skill gaps across the project delivery team
  • Support the development and refinement of training materials, exercises, and performance assessments bringing your own operational experience to make the content sharper and more effective
  • Observe field operations, project sites, and estimating workflows to stay grounded in how the work actually gets done and translate that into training that sticks
  • Track participant progress and provide coaching and feedback throughout the training cycle
  • Help establish consistent standards across Riggs Distlers project delivery disciplines, contributing to a more capable and scalable workforce
  • Support other training programs and initiatives as requested

What Youll Have

  • Active duty service member eligible for DOW SkillBridge participation
  • Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, and developing personnel whether through a formal instructor assignment, TRADOC faculty role, or sustained crew/unit leader development responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills you can explain complex technical concepts clearly to both experienced professionals and those newer to the field
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating without a rigid daily script

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
