Skilled Asphalt Laborer

About the Role:
KC Consulting is looking for a hardworking and dependable Skilled Asphalt Laborer to join our crew in Bellefontaine, OH! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in delivering high-quality paving and asphalt work that communities rely on every day. Responsibilities:

• Perform asphalt paving, patching, and repair work on roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces
• Operate and assist with asphalt-related equipment including rakes, lutes, and hand tools
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment to job sites
• Follow traffic control procedures and maintain a safe work zone on active job sites
• Prepare surfaces for paving including grading, compacting, and cleaning
• Work alongside crew members and equipment operators to meet project deadlines
• Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in asphalt paving, road construction, or general labor required
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Familiarity with asphalt tools, equipment, and paving techniques is a plus
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well within a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Commitment to worksite safety and following supervisor instructions
