Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented operator who takes pride in machine setup, quality production, and working as part of a team to meet manufacturing goals? If so, this position may be a great fit for you. As a Skilled Automated Operator, you will perform machine setups, production operations, and quality checks for machined parts and perform other machining production operations. You will work both independently and collaboratively to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while maintaining program standards.

Core Responsibilities of our Skilled Automated Operator:

  • Perform machine setups, production operations, and quality checks for machined parts per documented standard work and other written/verbal standards/instructions
  • Perform various other production and related operations per documented standard work and other written/verbal standards/instructions
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities per documented instructions
  • Stock and handle parts to support production
  • Monitor the quality of parts and assemblies - and communicate potential rejects timely
  • Work positvely as a team to meet goals for and improve safety, quality, delivery, and production output
  • Timely communicate any risks to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance
  • Participate in 6S organization efforts
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, standard work, work instructions, and other instructions
