Skilled Framing Laborer

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs on commercial projects
• Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials with accuracy and efficiency
• Support carpenters and foremen with layout, assembly, and installation of framing components
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials to keep jobsites productive and efficient
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow blueprints, layouts, and verbal direction to complete tasks correctly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
• Work efficiently to meet daily goals and overall project deadlines
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support the crew and maintain workflow

Skills Needed:

• Working knowledge of framing methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to follow direction while also working independently when needed
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced environment
• Physical strength and stamina to lift, carry, and perform manual labor throughout the day
• Awareness of jobsite safety practices and ability to work safely around others
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with crew members
