Key Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on concrete construction experience required.
Form carpentry experience preferred, including building, setting, and stripping concrete forms.
Experience with sidewalks, curbs, driveways, parking lots, or other flatwork concrete projects.
Experience installing and tying rebar/steel reinforcement prior to concrete pours.
Experience with concrete placement, pouring, spreading, raking, screeding, and finishing.
Ability to assist with jobsite preparation and form setup prior to concrete pours.
Ability to use basic hand tools and construction tools related to concrete and form work.
Site preparation, grading, excavation, or backfilling experience is a plus.
Track loader and mini excavator experience is a plus.
Must be able to perform physical construction labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working outdoors in Louisiana heat, humidity, dust, dirt, and changing weather conditions.
Must be able to safely work around heavy equipment and active construction areas.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a construction crew.
Reliable attendance required.
Must be flexible to work at various jobsites throughout the Lake Charles area.
