Job Title: Skilled Laborer
Job Description
This role supports residential and modular construction projects within a manufacturing environment. As a Skilled Laborer, you will assist with a variety of construction, installation, andproduction tasks, working alongside carpenters, assemblers, and other trades to help deliver high-quality building components safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Assist with the construction and assembly of wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures.
Perform a variety of general labor duties including material handling, loading, unloading, staging, and site organization.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to support construction and production activities.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to specifications and work instructions.
Assist with installation of framing components, sheathing, insulation, doors, windows, and other building materials.
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and project deadlines.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Support basic construction, assembly, painting, finishing, and cleanup activities as needed.
Essential Skills
At least 2-3 year of experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor environments.
Familiarity with hand and power tools such as drills, saws, nail guns, tape measures, grinders, and impact drivers.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of construction materials and job site safety practices.
Dependable attendance and commitment to quality work.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in residential construction, framing, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations preferred.
Forklift or material handling experience is a plus.
Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or measurement specifications.
Experience using tape measures and performing basic math calculations.
Comfortable working with various building materials and construction equipment.
OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
