Skilled Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Quanex is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator - 2nd Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results, this role offers the opportunity to build your skills on a variety of specialized equipment. As a Skilled Machine Operator, youll set up, operate, and inspect machines such as moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud machines, CNC equipment, and tenoners, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Salary: $23.00-$34.50 per hour (rate includes 15% shift differential), starting wage varies based on your experience

New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am, Friday 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 4:00am, Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm, potential Saturdays

• Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position.
• Ability to train others as requested.

What You Bring:

• High School or equivalent education, required.
• 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.
• Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
• Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
