    About the Role

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a key role in providing high-quality, personalized care to our residents. We are looking for compassionate caregivers who understand and respect the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the elderly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

    • Help residents safely navigate the community, including escorting to meals, activities, and appointments

    • Support dining activities (cutting food, serving, feeding assistance as needed)

    • Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, beds, and personal belongings

    • Take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight) and perform S&As when requested

    • Assist with resident admissions and care documentation

    • Encourage participation in community events and accompany residents to recreational activities

    • Maintain accurate daily flow sheets and care notes

    • Foster meaningful 1-on-1 connections with residents by understanding their individual needs

    • Attend scheduled in-services and continue developing gerontology knowledge through readings and discussion

    Requirements

    • Current or soon-to-be active California CNA certification

    • Knowledge of standard nursing practices and use of relevant patient care equipment and materials

    • Ability to pass a physical exam upon hire and annually thereafter

    • Compassionate and patient-centered care mindset

    What We Offer

    • $25/hour, based on experience

    • Full-time morning (1st) shift 6:30am to 3:00pm and afternoon (2nd) shift 2:30pm to 11pm available with rotating weekends (one weekend shift every "other" weekend)
